The Toothbrush

The Toothbrush by Dorji Gyeltshen

I smelt something odd and fishy
Cannot be my mouth, I say
Could it be last nights pea?
Soup was tasted for free
All my family tried but not me.

As the smell came from my brush
Morning bathroom line was a rush
My mind wondered in a gosh
Did I get cheated by my toothbrush
Staring at the stuck pea mush
Neither the less, I had to see my crush
It meets the running water, I wash
What is left of the porridge ash

So I put my lazy hand to work
Not caring about the jerk
Who kissed my brush with his teeth
As I was keeping the line waiting

( I know The Image has Nothing related to the Poem lol)
