Hydrangea by Dorji Gyeltshen
Hydrangea
Hydrangea, dark shiny blue,
In the garden full of hue;
What
desiring leaf and petal?
Could craft your deceptive look?
In
what hope and dreams,
Painted the colour of thine greens?
On
which hue did he aspire?
What the heart, dare grab the liar?
What
curves, what talent
Could rotate the limbic of my brain?
And
when my eye truly sees
The dreadful paint you hid inside.
What
the vines? What the art
In what spell was my foolish heart?
What
the roots? What fearful curse,
Makes thy grasps, it's
unknown parts.
When
the sky dropped it's spears
And watered the earth with
it's tears
Did she cheer to see her work?
Did she who made
the hues, make it lurk?
Hydrangea
Hydrangea, dark shiny blue,
In the garden full of hue;
What
desiring leaf and petal?
Who dare craft your deceptive look?
* Inspired by William Blake poem "The Tyger"
